Purċinella Press

Purċinella Press is Malta’s leading Risograph printing studio. Aiming to soft open in May 2026, Purċinella Press is committed to producing high quality, beautiful, and unique Riso printed projects.

The studio is run by multi-disciplinary artist Michelle Gruppetta. Purċinella Press combines Michelle’s love of illustration and bold colours by offering a range of prints, as well as a bespoke risograph design, printing services and workshops.

At Purċinella Press, we try make our process as eco-friendly and sustainable as possible, starting with our chosen printing method. Riso printing is an energy-efficient, cold printing process, that uses soy-based inks. We also do our best to source eco-friendly, sustainable paper.

We print, make, and pack our products by hand. Our DIY approach hopes to promote the quality and care of artisan craft as an alternative to mass production.

Purċinella Press is based in Mosta. We share an entrance with a vet clinic. If you wish to visit the studio, but are scared of or allergic to any animals, please let us know so that we can find a time for your visit when the clinic is closed.
